• Safari Compatibility Fixes: Addressed compatibility issues with Safari, including fixing trim video playback that overlaps outside the panel and resolving issues where the camera was showing a black screen and the microphone was not working after granting access.

The servers were restarted during this period to ensure that all changes were effectively applied. Feed/Upload Enhancements

• Updated Content Posting Feature: We have improved the content posting process when uploading from the group feed. Now, the group is automatically selected as the default privacy option for the content, streamlining the sharing process and aligning privacy settings with user expectations more effectively.

User Interface Improvements

• New Toast Notification for Unsaved Data: To enhance user experience and reduce the risk of data loss, a new toast message has been introduced. This notification alerts users when they attempt to leave a page with unsaved changes, serving as a crucial reminder to save their progress.

Proofing and Quality Control Fixes

• Resolved QC Workflow Bug: A bug in the proofing process has been fixed. Previously, upon QC decline, the status of the previous media was incorrectly changing to "editing." This issue has been corrected, and the status now appropriately reflects "completed," ensuring a more accurate and reliable quality control process.

Email Notification System Updates

• Updated Email Notifications for Comments on Deleted Media: We have refined the email notification system. Users will now receive updated notifications regarding comments on deleted media, ensuring they stay informed and engaged even when specific media content is no longer available.

Video and Thumbnail Issues

• Thumbnail Display Issue: Some videos are not displaying any thumbnails. This is a widespread issue affecting various videos.
• Thumbnail Hover Issue [Proofing]: Media (video) previews are not showing when hovering from 1 to 15 seconds on the video player bar.

Administrative Updates

• Update for DMS: Now, Superadmins and MSAdmins have the capability to browse any organization, even if they aren't a part of it. This enhancement is crucial for administrative oversight and support.

Quality Control and User Interface

• QC and Queue Issue: There was an instance where a task was rejected in Quality Control and then doubled in the queue. We're investigating this to prevent future occurrences.
• Microphone Options Overload: We've noticed an excessive number of microphone options available, including a Microsoft one. A review and potential simplification of these options are underway.

Course Builder and Conversation Enhancements

• [Course Builder] UI Overlap Issue: We're addressing an issue where the Title is impacting Profile Info and the Draft button is merging with the Close button.
• [Conversation] Layout Improvement: Efforts are underway to increase space between the Subject and the Subject's section for better readability and user experience.

Upload and Compatibility

• [Upload] HEIF and HEIC Thumbnail Issue: Thumbnails for HEIF and HEIC files are not displaying correctly during the upload process. We're working on ensuring compatibility and proper display of these file formats.

• Background: Users reported that the "Total time in Editing" was resetting incorrectly when moved back from Quality Control (QC).
• Example: Edit 65842, submitted 7 days ago, approved in QC 28 hours ago but revised 8 hours ago, showed incorrect queue time.
• Resolution: The total time calculation has been corrected to accurately reflect the duration in the queue, including revisions and QC processes.

1. Editing Queue Reports Update

• Current Limitation: The current report pulls data only from completed videos, limiting preemptive issue identification.
• Enhancements:
  • Scope Expansion: The report will now include data from:
  • Completed Queue
  • In-Editing Queue
  • QC Queue
  • Goal: This expansion aims to provide more comprehensive data, enabling proactive problem-solving during the editing process.

Version Number Optimization in Proofing Process

1. Enhancement: Precise Version Numbering

• Current Issue: Version numbers were either marked as .1 or not specifically detailed.
• New Approach:
  • Versions will now be distinctly marked for clarity.
  • Example: V3.2 will indicate the second revision due to QC failure on the 3rd version of the video. Version 6.1 will represent the QC phase of the 6th version before delivery to the customer.
• Objective: This change ensures clear and specific tracking of revisions and versions, enhancing accuracy in the proofing process.

• Problem: It was possible to give two likes by double-clicking the like button.

• Resolution: This issue has been fixed to ensure accurate like counts.
